Organised by the Church’s Eco-Team, they will be holding the third Yard Sales on Bank Holiday Monday 1st May 2017 from 10am till 3pm. You are invited to register your address, free of charge, on a online map so people know where your sale is taking place. In addition to registering the location of your sale we suggested you give a brief summary of what you will be selling, that way people can search out more easily what they want to find.
On the day you simply set up and sell your belongings, somewhere on your property. The live map can be accessed on the day using mobile devices or printed maps detailing sale locations will be available in the Church. The event will be widely advertised to bring in potential shoppers and also encourage Ratby residents to make a tour of the village, meet their neighbours and buy someone else’s unwanted treasures.
On the day the Church will be open serving hot and cold drinks and cakes between the hours of 10am and 3pm.
There is no charge to register your Yard Sale or any commission charge. The aim is to recycle unwanted goods all for good of our planet.
